# Activate Contract

> Provision a contract-type connector bound to this contract and link it back.

Creates a connector with type="contract" whose config encodes the full
extract/mapping/transform pipeline.  Then patches the contract record with
the resulting connector_id so the two resources are linked.

Idempotent: if the contract already has a connector_id and that connector
still exists, return it immediately without creating a second one.
